MEPol

MEPoL is a not-for-profit organization, providing Louisiana’s small and medium-sized manufacturers with business and technical solutions that help them become more productive and more competitive. MEPoL is part of the nationwide Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) network established by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).  A company must be classified as a manufacturing firm but beyond that, annual sales or numbers of employees are not a major consideration for receiving services. MEPoL works through local project directors and third-party consulting firms to deliver direct assistance to the manufacturers who receive services.  Typically these services are provided to Louisiana manufacturers at reduced costs.

The South Louisiana Economic Council is the regional intermediary for MEPoL Services and can assist in setting up initial evaluation meetings with MEPoL staff.

For more information, please contact SLEC or visit the Manufacturing Extension Partnership of Louisiana website.
